Rosie taking it easy
About
Irish Ch Balletcor Winters Roses
Rosie
Rosie was born out of a litter of nine with Mother Gemini and George, both DM at risk so Rosie is At Risk. Gemini is currently ten and has no signs of back problems and does agility with our oldest daughter.
We showed Rosie mostly in Ireland and became an Irish Junior Champion and picked up some early CACs.
Rosie was mated with Raven, Balletcor Ravenswood our first DM clear male and deliberately lined to George who we believe to have a Dominant Testicle Gene. We had had problem with Gemini’s litter that were not bred with George with the testicles dropping and Rosies litter of six with and equal split all the boys had testicles feelable at 3 weeks. All this litter are vWD clear and carriers for DM so none will ever develop DM which is the whole point of our present day breeding.
Rosie has only ever had this litter.
I took her out showing on certain occasions and she moved ever closer to the goal of seven Irish CACs and last May at the double Tipperary shows she gained her last CAC to become a Full Champion.
Rosies litter sister in France “Balletcor Winters Wishes” achieved the title of International Champion whilst being shown through France and adjoining countries.
