Porscha

Porscha was our first imported Pembroke and at the time she had to wait seven months after having a Titre. Porscha was bred in Michigan by the late Mary Marshall. Porscha flew out through Chicargo via Newark and landed in Dublin November 2011. Her first show was at the Barry show and took best bred puppy and then Group 1 puppy having been booked before she arrived. The following week she was in Exeter with Angel where they both made a big impression with some of the locals.

Porscha was a regular at the Welsh open shows and quickly scored enough points to become a holder of the Show Certificate of Merit award.

Porscha was not shown in Junior in Ireland under the FCI rules but with Merlyn were our two who we used to constantly to challenge the regulars.

Her first litter came with a mating to our George, Startori Andreas. One of those pups is with Fiona Lee and Sally is now in Cumbria and is the foundation to our present DNA testing having arrived in the UK with known results.

In 2019 we showed Porscha in the Veteran classes in Ireland and was not beaten, where she won all five with Excellents and took at least one Green Star.

Porscha was teamed up with Rosie and Sally as part of a successful team in the Irish FCI Team events where the three won and were awarded numerous places. These were seen in the Our Dogs Ireland editions of the paper.

Porscha is now ten and is an integral part of our home and the matriarch of all presently here.
