The pups fourth week saw us taking DNA swabs and posting them off to the IBERs unit at Aberystwyth Uni. We are testing for DM albeit we know all pups will be either DM clear or carrier. On Wednesday they had their microchips implanted at Fishguard vets. Our first visitors came on Friday to view followed by another Saturday. That saw two finding a new home.
Just a reminder. Lady, our mother is DM, vWD and Fluff clear and EIC carrier whilst Toby is vWD EIC and fluff clear and DM carrier.

September 2024
The Balletcor health progression continues with a deliberate mating with Basil and Jasmine. Basil we hope has a Dominant testicle gene and with Basil getting no younger its was time to use him again. This is Jasmines second litter at six and she had eight puppies. Currently the pups are 18 days old and fully reliant on mum;s milk but at approaching 3 weeks they will soon start having some solids. We are extremely pleased with how this vWD clear litter is progressing.
Jasmine is DM and vWD clear with Basil being DM carrier and DM clear but he has other attributes which make him a stud which we will be using again shortly. Great care has gone into the breeding with long term planning.
We will swab the pups at four weeks once they have had their microchips and the swabs will go to Aberystwyth Uni in their DNA sampling centre.

September 2023 see’s new babies
A new litter of three at home with Honey and Radar.
Two have already gone to their new homes.
Woody should have gone to Singapore but stayed with us. All pups in the litter were DNA tested. Woody has been shown on the Irish FCI circuit and at the Portadown All Breed Champ show took her first win in Junior and the CAC. Woody completed her run towards her IKC Junior Ch title at the Cork Internationals. She is our 27th Junior Champion
We are now planning our program for the 2025 winter litters. I will upload more details in time but feel free to contact us.

Am Ch Radar
Radar is the sire of Vincents recent litter. He is DM, vWD, EIC and Fluff clear. More can be seen on his own page in the boys section.
Puppy at his new home
At Nine weeks our latest male puppy went to his new home.
Mother Hazel
Hazel is with Vincent in Wexford and is the mother of this Radar litter and has DNA certificates showing clear for DM vWD. Therefore all pups are DM and vWD clear.
Tri colour
From Kim’s litter in December 2022 Basil was the only tri colour in the litter and took Sue’s heart and has became a fine young man. He was the first to be found drinking from a bowl of Kims milk. Since posting this he has found a new home following a previously loved corgi Tri colour. He being DM and vWD clear
DNA samples
You see a picture of us taking DNA samples from a previous Litter. Where we have to, DNA samples are taken and sent to the lab of our choice. New owners then receive this result printed on our own Balletcor secure watermarked paper.
Basil developed
Here is picture taken in April of the boy and wherever he went he turned heads, here is is on holiday on the beach. Basil has a staring role on our new calendar for 2024 showing he has been well and truly introduced to nature.
